Only GOD keeps you going....

The Fern and the Bamboo..

A beautiful story One day I decided to quit... I quit my job, my relationship, myspirituality. .. I wanted to quit my life.I went to the woods to have one last talk with God."God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"His answer surprised me..."Look around", He said.. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?""Yes", I replied."When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo". He said. "In the third year, therewas still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit." He said. "Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant. But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."He said to me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots. I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you. Don't compare yourself to others." He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern, yet, they both make the forest beautiful.""Your time will come, "God said to me. " You will rise high!""How high should I rise?" I asked."How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return."As high as it can?" I questioned."Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."I left the forest and brought back this story. I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you.Never regret a day in your life. Good days give you happiness. Bad days give you experiences. Both are essential to life. Keep going...Happiness keeps you Sweet,Trials keep you Strong,Sorrows keep you Human,Failures keep you humble,Success keeps You Glowing, but Only God keeps You Going!

(3G) UMTS Introduction

Basic understaing about wireless evolution.

Mobile communication has evolved in three stages:
1. First generation - analog. (Speech only).
2. Second generation - digital. (Speech and low-speed data).
3. Third generation - integration of all wireless services (fixed, cellular, cordless, satellite, etc.) into one universal mobile telecommunication system (UMTS). (Speech and high-speed data.)

Third generation (3G) systems come under the umbrella term of International Mobile Telecommunications 2000 (IMT-2000). They will provide a globally integrated system for delivering wideband information and services to mobile users over fixed, wireless and
satellite networks.

3G standards are being developed in Europe, Asia, and the United States, overseen by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU). The IMT-2000 specification is an overall guideline for all 3G systems, and will ensure worldwide compatibility between systems.

UMTS will provide wideband radio access with flexible bandwidth on demand (from just a few hundred bits per second up to 2 Mbits/s).

Why we need UMTS?
UMTS is driven by ever increasing worldwide demand for high-speed mobile data services.
For ex:
1) Internet access
2) Commercial and entertainment applications
3) Mobile multimedia (audio, video and data)
4) Integrated office services (fax, messaging, email)
5) File transfer

Existing GSM (2G) systems are based on narrowband technology and cannot provide the necessary bandwidth to support these services:

High Speed Circuit Switched Data (HSCSD) => 115.2 kbits/s
General Packet Radio Services (GPRS) => 171.2 kbits/s
Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE) => 384 kbits/s

Users expect seamless and global access to telecommunications services across fixed and mobile networks. UMTS will combine high speeds with integrated fixed, wireless and satellite network access. It will also support the increasing convergence between telecoms and IT applications.

UMTS uses wideband technology, providing variable bandwidth on demand and data rates of up to 2 Mbits/s.
UMTS supports the following data rates:
1) Up to 144 kbits/s for fast moving users (cars, planes)
2) Up to 384 kbits/s for slow moving users (pedestrian)
3) Up to 2 Mbits/s for indoor / stationary users.

UMTS Objective:
The following objectives were set for UMTS:
1) High-speed data
2) New services
3) Worldwide roaming
4) High speech and service quality
5) Multi-environment support
6) Circuit switching and packet switching support
7) Low cost.

Hope you have enjoyed this basic introduction. stay tuned for UMTS Architectue :-)

A Philanthropist Speaks: "Lessons from Life

What am I? What are my duties? Why we are here? GOD has been created this beautiful world. Now we human being are responsible to make more comfortable this world to live. If we see this world as a one industry (CEO is GOD) or as a one family. We all are employee here. We all have duty (role and responsibility) for our industry/family to become more beautiful.

What we are doing for our society? If we got good education and earned good degrees, we are earning good and doing well…that is not a big achievement. There are so many near by those who are not getting such basic need.

I was searching something on “life duty”, social work and I came across this good vedio.
“A Philanthropist Speaks: "Lessons from Life"

Initiative : To gather we can achieve more

Long back I came across one nice video: was describing team work and initiative.
If we all are in a problem, why we see only our selves? Can’t we see the bigger picture to solve the problem for all rather then finding short cut for ourselves only? Why we become selfish?

Here nice way it has been described. I hope you will enjoy this team work :-)

100 Inovations: Dr. Sam Pitroda

After coming to UK, I saw infrastructure in telecommunication and for electricity.
Why we don’t have that in India? Why all the research comes from US or UK?

I was doing some paper work regarding solution to my questions. And I came across good interview with Dr. Sam Pitroda.
So, thought to share that with you all. I am sure you will like this and will make you feel more responsible for whatever you have and for what all and how can we give something back to the society?

Yes, We are Indian

This is really an eye opener for us. that why don't we see our selves as Indian? and why we think our identity state wise?
I got this message from one of my friend Jayesh Rasania.

An American visited India and went back to America

Where he met his Indian friend who asked him
How did u find my Country
The American said it is a great country
With solid ancient history
And immensely rich with natural resources.
The Indian friend then asked.
How did u find Indians??

Who Indians??
I didn't find or met a single Indian there in India.

What nonsense??
Who else could u met in India then??
The American said..
In Kashmir I met a Kashmiri
In Punjab a Panjabi
In Bihar, Maharastra, Rajasthan, Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala
Bihari, Marathi, Marwadi, Bengali, Tamilian, Malayali

Then i met
A Hindu,
A Muslim,
A Christian,
A Jain,
A Buddhist

And many many many more
But not a single Indian did i meet

Think how serious this joke is..
The day would not be far off when indeed we would
Become a collection of nation states as some
Regional anti-national politicians want...
Fight back -
Always say i am Indian
Jai hind
